Every now and then you come across a wedding that is just too fantastic to be described in words, and way too elaborate and grand to fit into a normal blog post. Sukriti and Pragun’s wedding in Jaipur was such a wedding, and grand it was. From the very first event in Delhi with the incredible performance by no other than Cirque du Soleil, to the stylish and exotic set ups at the most beautiful and stunning monuments in Jaipur, this was a wedding to remember.

We did not expect much from the first event in Delhi. After all, it was a ‘small and intimate’ welcome dinner. Little did we know what was to become of that evening. It was the first time I met Sukriti and Pragun, but we really had no time at all to get to know each other as the stage exploded with pyrotechnics as the phenomenal dancers. If ever there was an event that I wished to be the audience and not the photogrpaher, this was it. A great start to build our expectations for the Jaipur events to follow.

Things in Jaipur started slowly with a ‘simple’ myra and Mehendi parties at the residence of the Kothari family in the heart of the city. All this to lead to another welcome dinner, this time at Jal Mahal, followed by a reception at Amber fort and a youngsters party at Mundota palace, to an out-of-this-world sangeet at Jaigarh Fort and  the wedding at the Kotharigarh outside the city, there was no stone that was left  unturned to make this wedding experience unique and memorable.

Colin Cowie, the renowned lifestyle and decor artist was in charge of the stunning set up and transformation of Jaigarh fort into a fairytale land for the Sangeet, while no other than Thomas De Bruyne was working to create the mandap art installation.
Here are just a few images from this incredible wedding. Just the tip of the iceberg really.
